Mysteries of Me on-line class by Lizzie Kartchner

This will by my first ever on-line class that I'm taking, and I can't wait. It's a really neat altered book with mysteries tucked inside. I searched for at least an hour at one of my local bookstores to find the perfect vintage book for this project. Here's a picture of it and some of the other supplies.

My Darling at Eight

Words elude me. I really need to sit down and record some memories of what she was like at eight, before I forget the details! Time is running away on me!

So Happy Together

Just a quick layout of my son and nephew.

Chipboard Mini-book

This is the cover of the mini-book that I'm creating from our memorable day-trip.
I cut the chipboard to the right size and textured the edges with the HS razor, painted and then stamped. I folded a clear Prima grid stamp and stamped without the block. I also stamped the raw HS letters with the same stamp.
Supplies: Scallop punch, yellow floral paper and number grid circle-SU, ticket embellishment-Tim Holtz, other embellishments from Chatterbox, Fabulous and ArtsyLiscious line. Cream label holder, brads and dragonfly brad-K&Co, large staple-Fascinator

I used a stencil to create the bracket paper. Supplies: paper-MME Tres Jolie Bonjour, embellishments-Chatterbox Fabulous, letters and ribbon-Chatterbox Artsyliscious, flower border-Doodlebug, "take a look" stamp-Fontwerks

I created the journaling block using SU cardstock and scallop punch. Deer button-Chatterbox Fabulous.

This album consists of about 25 pages. Click here see the rest of it.

2008 Random Memories

A little nostalgia riding down our street.

Junia came running inside yesterday, yelling that there's an icecream wagon outside! So that's where the bell sound came from! I of course couldn't refuse such an opportunity. (They already had an icecream cone that day.)

Sweet sister of mine.

My dear sister went to Bolivia, South America with her family, and she came home with hundreds of photos. She DISLIKES dealing with photos, so I thought I'd do it for her. Lo and behold, three weeks and ONE HUNDRED pages later, I'm still working on it. I'm creating a hard-cover album through Shutterfly for these photos. The last page is the back cover.

My Darlings

Another layout that I did not long ago. I'd like to include some journaling, but haven't decided yet what I'm going to write, so I'm procrastinating. I love the Prima bling!

Today is the twelfth of March, meaning I'm taking photos for my 12 on the 12th album. I'll post pictures some time of this album. Check out variations of this project at Faith Sisters.

This is the quilt my sister and I made which we are so proud of. A whole lotta love poured into this, not to mention some sacrifice on our husbands' part while we frantically sewed for this gift to be ready for Christmas Day.

I definitely could not have done this on my own, so while I had a spare moment, I made this to sis's delight.

My Favorite Kind of Sandwich

A layout just completed for Junia's seventh year album. I was going to stick to a really simple sketch for each page but these pictures were just begging for a more elaborate display.
